Memory Quilts
There is something incredibly special and emotional about the babygrows and kids clothing that signpost your treasured memories of your kids as they are growing up. Maybe you remember the babygrow that your child was wearing when you brought them home from hospital. Or maybe your recall what they wore the first time they spread food absolutely everywhere.
I’ve met many Mums who simply wouldn’t even contemplate the thought of losing the clothes that brought them such joy.
I have helped keep these memories fresh by creating memory quilts and cushions. What starts as a pile of clothes, ends up as a beautiful quilt that will bring joy for many years to come. I’ll work with you to whittle down the pile of clothes into your favourites. Taking the most striking or interesting elements (and cutting out those stains from that #poonami). I’ll then lay them out into a quilt, tying everything together with extra fabric where needed.
